Free stage! The curious little witch enchants Barnim on June 19th

The anticipation is great in the Barnim region: On June 19, the children of the Johann-Wolfgang von Goetheschule and the Nordend School can look forward to their first joint appearance. In a ceremony in the Schwärzetal house, they present the children's book set -to -music "The curious little witch". It is an exciting adventure in which the audience is invited to fly through the little witch Lisbet through the night and to share many exciting experiences, as barnim-aktuell.de

From the string class to cello class: The music classes involved are actively supported by the teachers of the Barnim music school. The elementary classes 2m and 3m of the Goethe School as well as the cello class of the Nordend School bring their entire musical talent to the stage. It will be a wonderful cooperation that will remain in the small and large visitors for a long time.

The performance dates are exciting and varied. Several performances take place on June 19:

• 9:30 a.m. - already sold out
• 11:00 a.m. - Presentation for primary school children (admission: 1 €)
• 4:30 p.m. - Family presentation (entry: € 3)

a project for everyone

The project is part of the funding program "Music Education for everyone", which has been supported by the Association of Music and Art Schools Brandenburg since 2010. The aim is to make musical education accessible to all children, regardless of their social background. The “Class: Music for Brandenburg” program now comprises 247 primary and special schools, with over 6,000 participating children. The district music school Barnim is a partner of six schools in the Bernau and Eberswalde area. Currently, 359 pupils between classes 1 and 6 music lessons in 17 classes, which underlines the importance of such initiatives, as barnim.de emphasizes.

For the future orientation of the funding programs, including the small project funding, the focus is on rural areas and structurally weak regions from 2024. It is ensured that music projects remain free of charge and accessible to all children.
