On the night of August 26, 2025, the Eberswalde Zoo was the target of a brazen break-in. Unknown perpetrators broke into the facility and apparently targeted a donation box and a photo booth. The owner of the vehicle must also expect to be held responsible because she released the car without a valid driver's license.
Apart from these incidents, a white Mercedes CLA was stolen in Rüdnitz. The search for the vehicle is in full swing and the police are hoping for information from the public.
