Founding stone laying: New primary school in Schönwalde is coming!

The planned completion of the roof of the sports hall is particularly remarkable by the end of October 2025. The adjacent sports facilities will be available regardless of school operations and should be available to the students from October 2025. These include a beach volleyball field and a multifunctional field that enrich leisure activities.

The new building relies on innovative and environmentally friendly technologies: 48 geothermal meadow is carried out for underfloor heating, while the wooden facade is designed. Green greening and a photovoltaic system should also contribute to the climate -friendly orientation. The project is aiming for a silver certification according to the rating system sustainable building (BNB). The total cost of these comprehensive measures amounts to around 37 million euros, of which 2.5 million euros are already available from KfW funding.
