A three-day spectacle is imminent, as the 28th Finowfurt rafting festival is taking placeJuly 4th to 6th, 2025for the big celebration. The idyllic community of Schorfheide in Finowfurt will be the stage for a colorful program that will attract not only locals but also many visitors from outside. According to information from Bernau Live The festival is traditionally opened on Friday evening by the mayor accompanied by the rafting club. A subsequent dance event heats up the mood and gets the guests in the mood for the coming days.

What can visitors expect in the next few days? On Saturday and Sunday there is a lot of dining on Erzbergerplatz. There are not only musical performances by local actors such as the “Spatzennest” daycare center and the United Dance Family, but also a varied children’s program for the little festival visitors. Musically, no facet remains untouched: from hits to rock to pop sounds and even line dancing, there is something for everyone. The event will be moderated by Tina Knop, known from the radio.

Colorful program for everyone

The range of activities is wide: guests can look forward to culinary delicacies and exciting attractions on a long festival and fairground mile. The traditional crafts of the raftsmen are presented as well as exciting raft trips that reflect the charm of the region.

On Sunday the festival concludes with a spectacular finale. The big laser show and a fascinating fireworks display over the Finow Canal form the crowning glory of the colorful hustle and bustle. The traditional duck race is also on the program on Sunday, which visitors are eagerly awaiting.

Arrival and traffic regulations

For non-local guests, we recommend traveling by public transport as parking spaces are very limited due to the high number of visitors. The Barnim bus company has set up special timetables for this. On Friday, July 4th, buses will run every hour until 1:50 a.m. On Saturday the buses operate from 2 p.m. to 1:50 a.m. and on Sunday between 2 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the stops “Finowfurt, Jugendheim”, “Finowfurt, Post” and “Finowfurt, Kreuz” will remain unserviced during the festival, but a replacement stop is located in front of the medical center.

Advance ticket sales for the dance and disco evenings on Friday and Saturday are already underway and cost ten euros each. Tickets can be purchased at the municipal office on Erzbergerplatz, where advance sales run until July 1, 2025. But don't worry, if you don't manage to secure a ticket in advance, you can also purchase the tickets at the box office Barnim Current reported.
