The 28th Finowfurt rafting festival is just around the corner and promises to be a really big festival in the Barnim district. From July 4th to 6th, 2025, the community of Schorfheide in the Finowfurt district will be the scene of a colorful spectacle that has been attracting many visitors since 1996 and is a highlight in the event calendar.

As the website barnim-aktuell.de reports, the mayor, accompanied by the rafting club, opens the festival on Friday evening, which is also celebrated with a dance. The musical entertainment promises a colorful mix of hits, rock, pop and even line dancing, which will be offered on the stage at Erzbergerplatz on Saturday and Sunday. Local actors will also be on stage, including the “Spatzennest” daycare center and the United Dance Family, who will delight the little visitors with their performances.

The Parsley Festival also features an exciting Saturday evening, which is rounded off by the Antenne Party Tour, where you can dance into the night. The presenter Tina Knop from Antenne Brandenburg will lead the stage program. Tickets for the dance and disco evenings on Friday and Saturday can be purchased in advance for ten euros each. This runs until July 1, 2025 in the municipal administration at Erzbergerplatz. Tickets will also be available at the box office.

For anyone traveling from further afield, it is important to know that parking spaces are limited. Therefore, it is recommended to use public transport. The Barnim bus company has set up additional connections between Eberswalde and Finowfurt. Special timetables ensure that it is still possible to get home even late at night: on Friday the buses run until 1:50 a.m. and on Saturday even until late at night.

Visitors can look forward to a festival and fairground that provides fun and entertainment. A laser show will crown the festival on Sunday evening, followed by a spectacular fireworks display that will amaze everyone. In order not to disrupt the daily routine of the celebrations, the stops “Finowfurt, Jugendheim”, “Finowfurt, Post” and “Finowfurt, Junction” will not be served by lines 905, 910 and 917 from Friday morning. However, a replacement stop will be set up to ensure access to the festival.
