Pure hiking action: Hiking Hero inspires on June 28th in Werneuchen!

On June 28, 2025, the time has come again: The third edition of the Hiking Hero is just around the corner and promises an exciting event for all hiking enthusiasts. This year the 44 -kilometer route will lead through the picturesque Barnimer Feldmark, which extends from Bernau to Tempelfelde and Schönfeld to Werneuchen. Then it goes on to Löhme, Börnicke and back to Bernau. A real adventure is waiting for the participants who will be sent to the race from 7:30 a.m.-and informed every 10 minutes in the start of the wave, such as [Visit Berlin] (https://www.visitberlin.de/en/event/hiking-hero-scc- Marathon hiking).

The event not only promises a physical challenge, but also a happy atmosphere with a touch of marathon feeling. At the finish line, hikers can expect applause and joy when they successfully master the challenge. Support is given by numerous volunteers, among other things by the children of the Altstadttspatzen day care center who helps with a lot of commitment to decoration and preparation, as Barnim Aktuell.
