Havelfest 2025: Three days of celebrations with top acts and traffic problems!

The Havelfest in Brandenburg an der Havel is just around the corner and promises a unique experience for all visitors. From June 20th to 22nd, 2025, this popular folk festival will celebrate its 60th anniversary with around 50,000 expected guests. The festival will traditionally open on Friday at 4 p.m. on the Salzhofufer, with the organizers Hans-Günter Koch, Managing Director of the Stadtwerke, as well as Mayors Steffen Scheller and Gunter Haase giving the opening speech. An exciting program will get people on their feet and create a good atmosphere, as well maz-online.de reported.

A highlight will be the concert by Giovanni Zarrella and Vanessa Mai, which will ensure a full house on the Stadtwerke stage on the Heineufer on Friday evening. Guests are allowed to enter from 6 p.m., while the concert begins at 8 p.m. If you don't have tickets yet, hurry up - remaining tickets are available at the box office until 8 p.m. Ticket prices are 25 euros for Stadtwerke customers (maximum 6 tickets) and 50 euros for other visitors. Particularly worth mentioning: Concert tickets entitle you to free use of local public transport on Friday from 4:30 p.m., which makes the visit even more attractive.

Traffic information and security measures

The city is preparing for the rush and has taken some measures to direct traffic. Road closures and parking bans will be in place throughout the city during the festival. Klosterstraße, Johanniskirchplatz and Am Salzhof street are closed to general traffic. Only residents are allowed to drive through here. Residents with a valid resident parking permit also have access to all resident parking areas. In addition to towing for a fee, traffic authorities also warn against parking in restricted zones.

The Brandenburger Verkehrsbetriebe (VBBr) has also adapted and is offering additional trips after the concert evening on Friday. Line 1 and Line 6 will introduce special departure times from Kanalstrasse to bring visitors home safely.

A celebration for the whole family

The Havelfest has established itself over the years as the largest folk festival in the region. In addition to live music and concerts, a large fair area with various rides, such as a Ferris wheel and bumper cars, will delight visitors. Numerous stands offering hearty snacks and refreshing drinks provide culinary delights. The whole family will find entertainment and fun here and the events program will continue to be expanded with other artists and DJs to be announced soon allevents.in reported.

A very special spectacle is the auction of 71 bicycles, which will take place on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on the Stadtwerke stage. The Havelfest is more than just a festival; it is a meeting place that creates memories and wants to celebrate especially this year.
