Autumn holidays in Brandenburg: Creative courses for young and old!

The autumn holidays are just around the corner and the adult education center has put together a colorful program for all age groups. From creative workshops to informative courses, there is something for everyone. In the city of Brandenburg, those interested can look forward to a variety of activities that make the most of the creative possibilities during the holidays.

One of the highlights is the course “Creative Self-Portrait between Reality and Social Media”, which is aimed at young people aged 10 and over. Here, participants are encouraged to critically examine their self-image, the influence of social media and society's expectations. On October 28th and 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., collages and artworks will be created that visually capture these themes. Thanks to funding from the Federal Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, participation is free of charge. The course takes place at the adult education center at Upstallstrasse 25. Variety of offers

There is also the “Crazy Critters Felting” course, which is suitable for both children and adults. Imaginative creatures can be created out of felt here on October 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Another highlight is the Halloween craft course, which invites families to create lanterns together using various techniques. This will take place on October 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the studio in the old bookstore in Plaue.

The workshop “Migration to and from Brandenburg – a creative discussion” is ideal for anyone who would like to deal with the topic of migration. Participants aged 8 and over and adults are welcome here to interactively explore the special exhibition “Hin und Weg”. The workshop will take place on October 27th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the City Museum, Ritterstraße 96, and promises exciting insights.

Social media marketing for beginners

The “Social Media Marketing for Beginners” course is an exciting online offer that is not only interesting for companies, but also for anyone who wants to improve their presence on the social network. The basics of marketing in social media such as Facebook and Instagram are taught here. Participants learn how to develop an effective social media strategy, plan content and define the target group. The course is led by Holger Jünke, an experienced marketing expert, and is aimed at clubs, small companies and freelancers. Registration takes place via the Bremen Adult Education Center website and the course takes place online, so that everyone can take part from the comfort of their own home.
