New high-performance system for the fire department in Brandenburg launched!
In Brandenburg an der Havel the motto is now: “High-tech for the fire department!” On August 14, 2025, a new high-performance conveyor system was put into service to effectively combat major fires and floods. This is a significant step for disaster control in the region, as there are only five such systems in the entire state of Brandenburg.
The new system is made up of three powerful vehicles: a Tatra Phoenix, which acts as a swap loader with a high-performance pump and industrial hoses, a MAN truck with sophisticated technology and a pickup truck to drive the water supply train. Particularly impressive is the high-performance pump, which can work with 6,000 liters of water per minute and can roll out industrial hoses at up to 50 km/h while driving. Its range is also remarkable: it can be positioned up to 60 meters from the water intake point and cover distances of up to 2000 meters.
Efficient technology for important operations
An important component of the new system is a mobile water basin with a capacity of around 35,000 liters, which can even be filled from the air. During its first use, the high-performance pump demonstrated its effectiveness and moved 4,000 cubic meters of water to clean a pipe network. The high diesel consumption of 38 liters per hour under full load and the proactive refueling with 440 liters of diesel and 50 liters of AdBlue are also worth noting.
In order to be able to intervene quickly in the event of forest fires, necessary aids such as chainsaws and high-limbing tools are also used. A new fire water tank with a capacity of 12,000 liters has already been ordered for future operations. This technical equipment will help the fire department to be there for the population even more effectively and quickly in an emergency.

Digital everyday helpers: WhatsApp Web problems
Anyone who needs digital support in addition to the various areas of life could encounter problems with WhatsApp Web. Users report slow message loading times, which can be frustrating. According to TechTudo, there are some quick solutions: First, you should try disconnecting WhatsApp Web from your phone and renewing the sync. A simple step is to remove access to the phone via the app, followed by scanning the QR code again. Alternatively, we recommend trying a different browser or clearing the app cache on Android devices to optimize the connection.
