Things are getting hot in the Brandenburg football scene and the anticipation for the new season is already palpable! On July 4, 2025, the course for the upcoming games and the upcoming duels between established teams and up-and-coming teams will be set. The umbrella organization for football in the Brandenburg region has published the game plans and fans can look forward to exciting clashes. “maz-online.de” reports that the last match day in the Brandenburg state game operation took place two weeks ago, and SC Eintracht Miersdorf/Zeuthen was crowned champions in the Landesliga Süd on June 21st.
With the new season starting fromAugust 22nd to 24th, 2025begins, spectators can look forward to a total of 30 exciting match days in the Brandenburg League as well as in the two state leagues and four state class relays. Spectator interest in derbies and clashes between clubs is particularly high. A very special highlight is the Oranienburg derby on September 28, 2025, when Oranienburger FC Eintracht meets TuS 1896 Sachsenhausen.
The return of BSG Stahl Brandenburg
BSG Stahl Brandenburg, newly crowned season winners of the North Regional League, is returning to the Brandenburg upper house with a lot of tailwind. Their first game in the new league will take place on the weekend ofOctober 24th to 26th, 2025against BSC Süd 05 under the direction of coach Robert Pocrnic. His counterpart, René Görisch, will do everything he can to prepare for his team's invigorating performance and to offer the fans a thrilling game.
Classification for the 2025/2026 season
The division of the men's teams in the Brandenburg State Football Association has now been officially confirmed. The Brandenburg League is made up of 15 teams, including well-known names such as Ludwigsfelder FC, 1. FC Frankfurt/Oder, as well as Brandenburger SC Süd 05 and many others.
