Cottbus dances in white: Waltz night at the Altmarkt attracts everyone!
On July 5, 2025, the Cottbus Altmarkt will once again be the venue for the popular “Waltz Night in White”. This annual event attracts not only dance enthusiasts, but also everyone who wants to spend an unforgettable evening in the open air. Organized by Cottbus State Theater and the Philharmonic Orchestra, the waltz fun begins at 9 p.m. and ensures that the guests dance together in three-four time.
A very special highlight this year is the free dance course offered by the Fritsche Dance School at 6:30 p.m. Here, beginners and advanced dancers can brush up on their dance skills before the music from the live acts brings the audience to their feet. Visitors are cordially invited to wear summery white – a tradition that makes the ambience of the event even more festive.
