On July 15, 2025, it was that time again in the Leag Stadium in Cottbus: FC Energie Cottbus held its official photo shoot for the coming 2025/26 season. At 8:30 a.m. the team was all smiles and faced the camera, while the players were invited to the shoot at 8:15 a.m. This must-attend event in professional football not only consolidates media presence, but also visually demonstrates the team's cohesion. The players posed in a good mood and took lots of spontaneous photos in front of the official part, and not even the mascot Lauzi was missing.
The special focus of the photo session was on the new Energie Cottbus coat of arms, which was proudly displayed on the jerseys. Coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz and captain Axel Borgmann were there to give a strong impression for the team. Among the players present was goal scorer Timmy Thiele, who is on the mend after his knee operation. The proud faces of the players are captured in a picture gallery that shows humorous insights behind the scenes.
