On July 15, 2025, the Leag Stadium in Cottbus was ready again: FC Energie Cottbus has completed its official photo shoot for the coming season 2025/26. At 8:30 a.m. the team beamed in full splendor and faced the camera, while the players were invited to the shoot at 8:15 a.m. At this compulsory date in professional football, not only the media presence is consolidated, but also the cohesion of the team is visually demonstrated. So the players posed in a good mood and with many spontaneous recordings before the official part, whereby the mascot Lauzi was not even missing.

Special focus of the photo shoot was on the new coat of arms of Energie Cottbus, which was proud of the jerseys. Coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz and captain Axel Borgmann were there to give a strong picture for the team. Among the players present was also a striker Timmy Thiele, who is again on the way of improvement after his knee surgery.
