On Friday afternoon, July 4th, 2025, a preparatory game between FC Energie Cottbus and VSG Altglienicke took place at the SV Dissenchen sports facility. Axel Borgmann had another opportunity to give Altglienicke the lead in the 14th minute, but Cottbus' defense held firm.

Tension until halftime

In the 33rd minute, Cottbus fell behind: A free kick from VSG landed at Kapp after a block in the wall, making it 0-1. But Cottbus did not let this discourage him. With this 4-2 win, FC Energie celebrated their fourth victory in their fourth test match. A promising sign before the start of the new season, which begins on August 2nd or 3rd against 1.
