The new home and away jerseys are red-white and blue-white and shine with a design that brings back memories: two diagonal stripes on the front, reminiscent of the first jersey from 1966, adorn the new outfits. These historical elements are combined with a modern liquid texture that is reminiscent of the water of the Cottbus Baltic Sea and the Spree Forest. A stylized crab is depicted on the right hip, which refers to the historic city coat of arms from 1156.

A piece of club history

But the jersey offers more than just an attractive design. The ten commandments of FC Energie are incorporated into the inner band, which are reminiscent of a fan choreography from the 2000s. The central lettering on the back, “ENERGIE” with the additional “NUR”, speaks to a cultural connection to the club’s passionate supporters, as Radio Cottbus emphasizes. The choice of font for the back numbers, Friz Quadrata, captures the historical reference as it was also designed in 1966.

Sales of the anniversary jerseys begin at noon on Friday, June 27, 2025.
