The air will be burning in Cottbus next weekend - and not just because of the expected mixed weather conditions! The Flugplatzmuseum invites you to the popular commercial and military vehicle meeting for the 22nd time on July 12th and 13th, 2025. An event that delights technology lovers, history buffs and families alike.
Historic aircraft, tractors, tanks and trucks are exhibited on the site. There's a lot to see and discover here! The little adventurers can even take a seat in the cockpit and play the role of pilot themselves. For those who like thrills, helicopter tours are on the program on both days. A special highlight will be the fire and laser show by the “Flying Flames” from Dresden on Saturday evening.
An event for all ages
The event is perfect for families because the program has something to offer for everyone. Visitors can ride in military vehicles and explore a historically recreated field camp. A children's carousel and numerous cockpit seats are available to make the hearts of young and old beat faster. There are also various helicopters and airplanes on display - history can be experienced here!

If the museum is open until 11 p.m. that evening, the aircraft can be viewed with atmospheric lighting.
