Start of the season with a spectacle: SV Ried plays against Energie Cottbus!
What's new from Ried? SV Oberbank Ried is ringing in the new Bundesliga season with a lot of momentum. On Friday, July 18th, things really get going against the German third division team Energie Cottbus in the Innviertel Arena. At this season opening at 6 p.m., fans can look forward to a colorful supporting program that leaves nothing to be desired.
A highlight will be the autograph session with players and coaches after the game. There's a special prize for the little fans: children up to 15 years old have free entry! Adults have to pay 10 euros for a day ticket, which can be purchased at the stadium ticket offices and online www.svried.at is available. The south and west stands are also open for Ried fans with free choice of seats. And of course there is a guest sector for the supporters from Cottbus.
The test match preparation
Before it gets down to business against Cottbus, Ried still has a few test games to play. A clash with Bayern Munich II follows on Saturday, June 28th. Kick-off is at 4 p.m. at the Bayern Campus in Munich. This game replaces the planned match against Universitatea Cluj and will be an initial assessment of the team's position. The other test games in preparation will also be exciting: On July 5th, SV will play against Dynamo Dresden, on July 8th they will play against 1860 Munich, before FC Liefering awaits in Hohenzell on July 12th.

ÖFB Cup and championship start
But that's not all! On July 25th, Ried will face SC/ESV Parndorf 1919 in the ÖFB Cup, an exciting duel that kicks off at 6 p.m. The championship opener in the Admiral Bundesliga is scheduled for August 1st to 3rd. An exciting time lies ahead for SV Oberbank Ried, and the fans can look forward to many unforgettable moments.
