Summer fun for families: Cottbus Holiday Pass 2025 starts now!
Families in Cottbus can look forward to: The Cottbus Holiday Fun Pass 2025 launched on June 28th and is valid until September 7th - that's a whopping 72 days, longer than ever before! The different holiday periods in Brandenburg and Saxony in particular offer plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the numerous offers and enjoy the summer holidays to the fullest.
What makes this pass so special? While the Brandenburg family pass has been discontinued, Cottbus has a unique unique selling point. Over 7,000 activated passes were registered last year. This speaks for the great interest of families in the region!
Attractive offers and savings
The pass grants access to 16 regional destinations, including popular spots like Cottbus Zoo, the Lübben climbing forest, the Spreehafen Burg and the newest attraction, the Laserland Cottbus. What's more, families who take advantage of all offers can save more than 80 euros - and all for an activation fee of just 1 euro. By the way, this fee is completely donated to social projects in Cottbus and Lusatia.
Where can I get the pass? It is available free of charge from partners and at many display points in Cottbus and the surrounding area. A complete list of display locations can be found at ferienspasspass.de.
Common cause for a good cause
The success of the FerienSpaßPass is also thanks to the hard-working supporters. Among others, DB Regio Nordost, LEAG, Stadtwerke Cottbus and many other partners contribute to the success. Since its introduction in 2012, over 130,000 euros have been raised for charitable projects. Another highlight is the cooperation with the VR Bank Lausitz eG crowdfunding platform, which enables additional donations.
Tobias Schick, the mayor of Cottbus, has taken over the patronage of this great project and actively promotes the use of the pass. The pass is also offered in Polish to increase its attractiveness for neighboring regions.
For families who are planning various leisure activities in Cottbus and the surrounding area in the summer, the Brandenburg family pass a nice addition. On its website you will find around 300 excursion tips and current events for children and young people within the region.
