Next Saturday, July 5th, 2025, the 13th Königs Wusterhausener Höfenacht will take place. The city administration organized the event, which will officially open at the city fountain at 6 p.m. Not only local businesses and property owners, but also various associations are actively involved here. Up to 8,000 visitors are expected who can look forward to a varied program.
With a total of 22 participating farms, the culinary and cultural offerings are certainly impressive. From live music, regional delicacies to a wide variety of attractions, there is something for every taste. The artistic diversity is underscored by performances from a wide variety of bands: For example, a rock band will perform in the Palais am Schloss, while the band Kruse will perform German rock at the Schlossmühle. For jazz and blues fans, “Adams Spirit” awaits at the hunting lodge. A highlight this year is the new Harley station at the train station, where you can not only hear live music, but also have the opportunity to get a tattoo.
Security concept for worry-free celebrations
Safety is a major concern for the organizers. Loud ASD Group A well-thought-out security concept is crucial to minimize risks and ensure a safe environment for everyone involved. For the Höfennacht, monitoring of visitor flows will be increased, supported by external security forces, the event team and the public order office. Nevertheless, access to the courtyards remains relaxed; There are no comprehensive bag checks planned.
However, guests are asked to act considerately and adhere to the established safety precautions. For example, glass bottles, dangerous items and larger pieces of luggage are prohibited. There is also a ban on weapons throughout the entire event.
Road safety in focus
Based on experiences from the previous year, measures are also being taken to improve traffic flow to ensure greater safety. The Eichenallee between Cottbuser Straße/Luckenwalder Straße and Schmitz Katze will be closed in order to avoid dangerous situations. Alternatively, Karl-Marx-Strasse as well as Jahn- and Maxim-Gorki-Strasse remain accessible.
For gourmets big and small, there are fresh crepes, cool liqueurs and tasty regional dishes. Among other things, the Eiscafé am Stübchen provides sweet vibes, while Holzbau Schmidt offers beer and music. A Späti on Eichenallee will also be open to offer night owls a colorful selection.
Non-profit initiatives under the motto “Help with skill” are also the focus. Proceeds from the event go to the KW Community Foundation and the Lions Club, both of which are active on their farms.
