The draw took place on November 5th, and there is even more reason to be happy: a total of 15 million euros were paid out at this event in addition to the regular winnings. This means that the win is not only a reason to celebrate for the winner, but also for the over 12,000 other participants who also received cash prizes.

Aktion Mensch, which is behind the lotteries, has made a name for itself by supporting social projects in Germany, especially for people with disabilities as well as children and young people. Last year, around 6.7 million euros flowed into a wide variety of projects in Brandenburg alone, which included meeting places, inclusion businesses and housing options.
