On July 10, 2025, a celebratory award ceremony for the best high school graduates in the Dahme-Spreewald district took place at the historic Ehrenhof in Lübben. After a year full of hard work and deep learning phases, a total of 26 students were awarded the dream grade 1.0 for their outstanding achievements. District Administrator Sven Herzberger, district council chairman Olaf Schulze and department head Stefan Klein were on site to present the certificates and express their praise. A highlight of the day was not only the presentation of certificates, but also the social exchange afterwards over refreshing ice cream sundaes, where many graduates were able to exchange ideas with parents, teachers and companions. The musical accompaniment from the district music school gave the event a particularly celebratory touch.

The distribution of high school graduates with a grade of 1.0 reflects the high quality of education in the region. The outstanding achievements of the students were distributed across different schools:

The top grades in the training of social assistants and educators are also noteworthy, with one social assistant and one educator achieving an average grade of 1.0. This shows the diversity and high standards of educational offerings in the district.

A large proportion of high school graduates already have clear ideas about their future plans. Many consider studying medicine, law, natural sciences, music, business administration or education. Dahme-Spreewald highlights that the best graduates show particular interest in subjects such as biotechnology, computer science and psychology.
