Strict construction work in Eichwalde: L401 remains closed until September!

In Eichwalde, work is diligently - and not insignificant. The asphalting work on the L401, more precisely on Zeuthener Strasse, started. As maz-online.de reports, the second construction phase started on May 15 and was originally supposed to be completed during the summer vacation. But now it is clear: the blocking of the street remains until September, premature approval is not possible. All traffic has been diverted via Eichwalde since October 2024.

The asphalting work is only the beginning, because after the first repair measures, the work on the traffic islands and the completion of the pedestrian traffic lights are still on the program. Road residents still have to prepare for a lot, because until the final reopening of the L401, temporary bypasses for bus traffic and construction site equipment must also be removed.

The renovation of the L401 is prompted by the state of Brandenburg and is to take place over a distance of around 940 meters. This work officially begins on 16.
