On August 31, 2025, the greenhouse area of the forest botanical garden of the University for Sustainable Development in Eberswalde will be transformed into a true land of milk and honey for tomato lovers. The 6th Eberswalde Tomato Festival is a feast for the senses that attracts numerous visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Supported by the city of Eberswalde and the WaldWelten Foundation, around 400 to 500 different tomato varieties are presented here by hobby and professional gardeners.
What awaits the guests? In addition to the great variety of tomatoes, visitors can also taste numerous tomato products and find out more about the versatile fruit. A special highlight is the opportunity to purchase seeds and plants, including peppers, pumpkins, melons and herbs. Regional providers ensure your physical well-being and create an all-round successful celebration with wonderful delicacies.
