It is precisely for this reason that the city of Brandenburg an der Havel is looking for proposals for the 2026 volunteer awards, which can be submitted by January 15, 2026. Women and men who are passionately committed to various areas of society should be honored. The city calls on books and citizens to submit suggestions to strengthen volunteerism as an important pillar of the community.
A central aspect of the volunteer award is the personal motivation of the nominees, which is often reflected in their work for clubs or social institutions. The award ceremony is planned for June 2026 during the city's summer reception. Those interested can easily submit their suggestions via an online questionnaire. We ask that you only make one suggestion per club or institution.
