New life-saving center: Großthiemig lays the foundation stone for a rescue station!

Yesterday the foundation stone for a new rescue station was laid in Großthiemig. The Elbe-Elster district plans to significantly strengthen emergency medical care in Schradenland with this new building. This makes the new station the eleventh new building that has been built since 2010 to meet the requirements of modern emergency care. The new rescue station will be built near the previous location at Hauptstrasse 31, which no longer meets today's standards. The investment costs amount to around 1.6 million euros. Hauffe Industrietore GmbH takes care of the metal construction, while Kollesser Kunststoff- und Metallbau GmbH takes part in the window, door and carpentry work.
