Finsterwalde, Deutschland - On the first weekend in August, the time has finally come: the Tierpark "> Finsterwalde celebrates its 55th anniversary with a colorful festival weekend. On Saturday, August 2, the Nacht Nacht will open at 6 p.m., and this promises to be an exciting evening. Exciting thematic tours, the possibility of insect determination and a nightly bat search in cooperation with the NABU are planned. The Sunday, August 3, is all about the traditional zoo festival, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Here, visitors can expect a varied program with animal feeding, various handicrafts and colorful hands -on offers for the little guests. The Kremser trips start directly at the entrance to the zoo and invite you to a cozy journey of discovery. In order to make the whole event even more alive, the “Singkreis Lausitz” and the Finsterwald women's choir will also appear on Sunday. Of course, the mayor Jörg Gampe will also celebrate an official opening, accompanied by animal park manager Torsten Heitmann.
