A dramatic incident occurred this morning in the small town of Karstädt in the Prignitz district: At 4:30 a.m. a fire broke out in an oatmeal factory, which has posed a major challenge to the emergency services ever since. Around 200 firefighters are now on duty to fight the flames, which are clearly visible from the commercial area in the area.
