An exciting weekend is coming up in Havelland in just a few days: from November 7th to 9th, 2025, there will be numerous events for young and old that will provide entertainment and community. But what exactly is on the agenda? Let's take a look at the highlights!

On Friday, November 7th, the film festival in Falkensee will open in the Finkenkruger Church with the moving film “His Last Race” at 4:30 p.m. Admission is free – a great opportunity for film lovers! If you like music, you can stop by the rock concert by the band “Kling Klang” in the multi-generation house from 3 p.m., also free of charge. At 6:30 p.m., the Zeestow local council in Brieselang meets for a get-together in the community church room, before the song recital takes the stage in the Finkenkruger Church at 7:30 p.m.; Admission here is also free, but a donation is requested.

Diverse events on Saturday

Saturday, November 8th, shines with a wide range of leisure activities. In Ferchesar, a creative market will take place in the community center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., where hobby artists will present their works. The village beautification in Hoppenrade is also on the agenda: a village cleaning will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a barbecue after the event. In Falkensee in the morning at 11:00 a.m. there will be a lot of planting in the children's city forest, and afterwards there will be coffee and cake for all the helpers. Football fans can come to the hockey club for the 2nd Falken Cup between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and look forward to exciting games.

In the afternoon, the Haveltorkino in Rathenow offers another film festival from 3:00 p.m., where admission is free. For theater professionals, the play “A Crazy Wolf Family” in Falkensee is a must - it starts at 4 p.m. and tickets cost 10 euros; for children they are available for 5 euros. Anyone who loves poetry should not miss the homage to Mascha Kaléko at 6 p.m.; Admission here is also free, but a waiting list is required. In Ribbeck, Kristof Kannegiesser reads at 7:00 p.m.; Admission is 10 euros, reduced price 5 euros. In the evening in Ferchesar there is a cinema evening in the church from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., entry fee 5 euros. Music lovers can visit the event “Crazy Revival meets Back to the Oldschool” in Friesack, entry is 12 euros, ages 16 and up.

A contemplative end to Sunday

Sunday will be quieter, but offers no less interesting events. The first Open House by women for women will take place in Falkensee from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - entry is also free here. In Rathenow, those interested can take part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the synagogue at 11:00 a.m., while in Brieselang a memorial event at stumbling blocks will also take place at 11:00 a.m. There will be a special occasion at 1:00 p.m. in the Rathenow Cultural Center: The fall of the Berlin Wall will be remembered here. Afternoon coffee will be served around 3:00 p.m. at the Rainbow Café in Falkensee, before a great film is shown at 4:00 p.m. in the Nennhausen community center - admission is free!

Nature and music lovers shouldn't miss the brass concert in the Holy Spirit Church in Falkensee at 4:00 p.m., which lasts until 6:00 p.m. The crowning conclusion is a book presentation with a live concert in Dallgow-Döberitz at 5:00 p.m., which can also be attended without admission.
