New German vaulting champions: Triumph and tears in Munich!
On August 17, 2025, the German Junior Vaulting Championships took place at the Olympic Riding Facility in Munich. This event attracted numerous talents from all over Germany who competed for medals in various categories. The excitement was palpable, especially in the Pas de Deux, Junior Men's and Junior Women's disciplines.
Particularly noteworthy is the brilliant finale of the Pas de Deux. Felix Wöhe from Eberswalde and Greta Helene Liebig from Bernau impressed the jury and secured the gold medal with 8.323 points. Her performance was not only technically demanding, but also emotionally gripping. The silver went to the Cologne team Fabio Ring and Jana Düllmann with 7.982 points, while Clementine from Mandelsloh and Carlotta Prislin from Gauting won bronze with 7.615 points. There was also something spectacular in the junior men's category, where Sebastian Renkl from Schweitenkirchen climbed to the top step of the podium with 8.674 points.

However, the event was not without difficulties. The Hoisbüttel junior team had to give up after a fall during the final freestyle and ended up in seventh place. The national coach Kai Vorberg was nevertheless very satisfied with the development of the young German vaulters and praised the commitment and achievements of everyone involved.
