FC Kremmen defies loss of points and remains top of the league!

After nine match days, FC Kremmen catapulted itself to the top of the Oberhavel/Barnim district football league. Despite a late loss of points, the team led by coach Marco Meißner is optimistic about the coming games. “We dominated the field with a lot of commitment and fair methods,” emphasizes Meißner.

Last season was a challenge for Kremmen, who fell to sixth place after a strong first half. Now coach Meißner wants to ensure that the team stays at the top again through fairness, high participation in training and solidarity within the squad. The club has recorded eight wins and one draw so far - an impressive record that excites fans.

The keys to success

Meißner cites four central reasons for his team's success. Firstly, fairness should be emphasized: Kremmen has received 22 yellow cards so far this season, but no expulsion. “This shows that we act disciplined as a team,” said the coach. The second point is training participation. On average, 15 players take part in training, even in bad weather. This not only promotes fitness, but also team dynamics.

In addition, new additions and returnees such as Julian Krüger and Mark Lindemann strengthen the squad. Sascha Hergst in particular brings valuable experience and running qualities to the team. “He is a key player who makes a decisive contribution to success,” says Meißner. The positive team dynamics could also be felt in the last training camp and in various team activities, which further strengthened the team spirit.

Looking at the challenges ahead

The next games are particularly important for FC Kremmen. The coach has already drawn up a roadmap to compete against the top 5 teams in the league. There are challenges against Grün-Weiß Bärenklau (5th), FSV Bernau II (3rd), Unit Zepernick II (4th) and Lichterfelde/Finow (2nd), all of whom are demanding opponents. “We have to develop our game and stay focused, then the chances are good,” sums up Meißner.

“Luck of the game” is another aspect that Meissner does not ignore. He is sure that if the team performs accordingly, the right results await them. Kremmen remains a hot contender for promotion and will do everything in its power to defend this position in the next few weeks.
