Dentist becomes country star: Anne West conquers the music scene!
Anne Heinz, a 36-year-old dentist from Liebenwalde, is currently causing a sensation in the music scene. After recently taking part in the semi-finals of the RTL casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” (DSDS), she is now optimistic about the future of her music career. Despite the jury's decision that didn't get her into the final, she didn't let it discourage her and is now dedicating herself more intensively to music. “I don’t see this as a setback,” said the talented singer, who performs under the stage name Anne West. Her focus is clearly on German-speaking country music, a direction that she sees as an authentic expression of her personality.
Anne gave up the operational business of her dental practice “Dentiland” to devote herself entirely to music. Her debut single “Adieu” has been streamed over 700,000 times on Spotify, showing that she has already reached a large audience. Although many major music labels showed little interest in her style, she found a smaller label in “Mountain Music” that supported her passion for country. This year there were numerous appearances for the newcomer, including at the International Radio Exhibition in Berlin and a fashion event with model Lena Gercke.
