Development of the vaccination rate
With a vaccination rate of 76.3% of those with basic immunizations and 77.9% of those vaccinated at least once, the vaccination campaign is still very popular despite the slight declines. These numbers come from the Robert Koch Institute, which provides detailed information on vaccinations in Germany. With his VacMap dashboard Vaccination rates in different age groups and regions can be easily tracked.
A total of 4,753,667 vaccinations have been carried out in Brandenburg so far, which shows that there is still a lot of vaccinations ahead of us to ensure safety for everyone. Especially in view of the new variant, which has been classified as "Nimbus", it is important that the population remains well informed. This variant, which has been known since January 2025, is more easily transmissible, but does not cause more severe disease progression.

Another encouraging aspect is the occupancy of the intensive care beds in the district: There are currently no COVID-19 patients in intensive care treatment, and the overall occupancy rate of all intensive care beds is 60%. This shows that the region is navigating the crisis well despite the global challenges.
The data depends in part on the number of tests carried out, and delays in data transmission cannot be ruled out. It is important that all citizens remain vigilant and inform themselves regularly.
