After a six-year break, the Lauchhammer Fire Department's traditional duck race is returning and will take place on July 19, 2025 in the Lauchhammer Castle Park. The Lauchhammer City Fire Brigade Association 1991 e.V. and the Lauchhammer Youth Fire Brigade are the organizers of this popular spectacle, which offers an entertaining family festival for both young and old visitors.
The big event day starts at 11 a.m. with a colorful program. In addition to the main event, the start of the race for around 1,000 yellow plastic ducks at 2 p.m., guests can enjoy a wide range of culinary offerings and rides on the park railway.
