The anticipation is great: From September 12th to 14th, 2025, Bad Saarow will be the venue for the popular “Flammender Scharmützelsee” folk festival. This diverse festival offers a variety of attractions that will attract both families and music-loving visitors. The event is organized by Tourismusmanagement GmbH (TMG), under the direction of acting managing director Thomas Erk.
What can visitors look forward to? Music and breathtaking fireworks are at the top of the list. On Saturday evening, at 10:30 p.m., a large fireworks display will light up the night, although entry will be closed from 9:30 p.m. The first visitors can experience the festival on Friday at 5 p.m. with a food court, a children's disco and a lantern parade. On Saturday, guests can expect a colorful family program and the live band “The Clogs” from 9 p.m. Sunday will be all about art and music with a family day and a performance by “Joe’s Big Band” starting at 11 a.m. The festival ends at 5 p.m.
