In the idyllic setting of the Peace Village Storkow, a very special event is on the program on Friday, August 22nd, 2025: the alínæ lumr summer cinema. From 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. the crowd is expected to attend, looking forward to a relaxing evening surrounded by picnic blankets, snacks and drinks provided on a donation basis.
The event, organized by the Oder-Spree district and the federal Living Democracy program! is promoted, promises not only fun for the whole family, but also a warm community atmosphere. From 6:00 p.m. there will be games, fun and treats before the film screening of “The boy needs some fresh air” (2018, comedy/drama, FSK 6) is on the program at 8:00 p.m. Admission is free, so everyone has the opportunity to be part of this special evening.
The next event in Storkow
The organizers of alínæ lumr have even more to offer: the next event will take place on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Then it continues from 2:00 p.m. on the meadow on the river (old Helios site). Local associations and initiatives will be presented here, followed by an interesting lecture by the author Lukas Rietzschel at 6:00 p.m. On this day too, the audience can look forward to another cinema experience from 8:00 p.m. - and entry remains free.
