Neuruppiner Kita Together shines again: More space for children!
The Neuruppiner Kita "Together" recently opened its gates and is now presenting itself in a modern robe at the headquarters in Bullenwinkel. After extensive renovation work initiated by the Stephanus Foundation, the facility was not only visually but also functionally upgraded. These measures required a high financial effort, which will be paid out, because now there are numerous new opportunities available to the children.
The daycare center inspires with newly installed floor -to -ceiling panoramic windows, which give each of the three areas - baby, preschool and children from 2.5 to 4.5 years - a bright and friendly space. Currently, 56 children are registered in the facility, which now has a capacity of 80 places. Two additional educators are to be stopped to further expand the supervising capacities.
A special highlight is the modern kitchen, equipped with a hot air oven (convectomat) and a sports and creative room. Sports and dance educators promote the creativity and physical activity of the children, who are always on site on Mondays and Wednesdays. During the renovation period, the children had to move to an alternative accommodation, which was certainly not an easy undertaking. Here the little ones were housed over three floors. All the greater the joy of returning to the newly renovated daycare center.
accessibility and planned extensions
Another progress is the newly built -in elevator, which now makes the daycare them barrier -free. This is particularly important to offer all children, regardless of their physical skills, an equal play and learning environment. The sun protection for the baby game area is still pending, but should be installed in summer, so that the little ones are well protected from sun rays.
Extensive support not only comes locally from the city of Neuruppin, where the department head Ulrike Engel coordinates the planning planning for daycare centers (Neuruppin.de), but also at federal level. The federal government has put up several investment programs since 2008 that serve to expand and improve childcare in Germany. In particular, a billion euros are provided with the current program for the expansion of 90,000 care places (BMFSFJ).
The daycare culture in Neuruppin is constantly developing, with a view to securing and improving the quality of care. A new daycare center in Radensleben was recently opened, and there are already plans for a new building in sight for the daycare center in Gildenhall. All of these measures are part of a comprehensive approach to meet the challenges in early childhood education.
