Brandenburg as a whole also appears to be stable in the current evaluation. Here the 7-day incidence was 9.2 per 100,000 inhabitants. Symptoms and vaccination status
COVID-19 can affect people differently. Most infected people have mild to moderate symptoms, often starting with fever, cough and fatigue. Serious symptoms such as difficulty breathing or confusion require immediate medical attention. This is particularly important to know because symptoms can develop differently over time after an infection, sometimes up to 14 days.
Things are also looking good on the vaccination front in Germany: So far, 76.3% of the population has received the basic vaccination, while 77.9% have been vaccinated at least once. In total, more than 188 million vaccine doses had been administered by April 8, 2023. The majority of vaccinations are the vaccine from Biontech, followed by Moderna and Astrazeneca.
During this phase of the pandemic, it remains of utmost importance to be mindful and continue to follow all necessary health measures. Authorities advise that if you have cold or flu-like symptoms, even if mild, you should stay home and allow time to monitor your health.
