Elbe bath day 2025: Four days full of fun and competitions in Wittenberge!

A very special festival is in Wittenberge: the Elbebade Day , which has developed over the years from a small event to a big folk festival. From July 17 to 2025, water will be brought to life at Nedwighafen. What once started with a few brave swimmers has blossomed into a four -day celebration that not only attracts water sports enthusiasts, but also families and onlookers.

already 24 years ago, a group dared to jump into the Elbe near Hinzdorf. Today the festival is one of the highlights in the Prignitz region and offers a variety of activities that have something ready for every taste. Over 80 participants have already registered for Eleschwimmen, while 20 mix teams and ten junior boats have been positioned for the exciting dragon boat race.

The program is filled. The first two days are specially reserved for schools that compete against each other in swimming relay competitions and junior dragon boat races. On Saturday it is round when the leisure teams bring their dragon boat races to the route of 250 meters. Not only are prices for the best teams, but also great fun and team spirit.

But the Elbe Baden Day is much more than just a swimming competition. A comprehensive supporting program ensures that there is no boredom away from the competitions.
