Preparations for the 2025/26 season are entering the hot phase. SV 90 Görmin impressively showed that they are ready with a friendly win against FSV Malchin. The Görminers won the last test match before the start of the new season with a score of 2-0. Noah-Fabien Liedka gave his team the lead in the 22nd minute before Vincent Löwe scored the second goal in the 34th minute after an assist from Liedka Northern Courier reported.
Despite the victory, coach Frank Schult is not entirely satisfied with the way the chances were taken advantage of, as the Görmin team missed numerous opportunities. Nevertheless, SV 90 Görmin remains undefeated in preparation: two wins and a draw are impressive. The next competitive game is already around the corner when they meet TSV Wustrow in the MV state cup. However, Schult will miss this game as he is on vacation; his assistant coach will manage the team's fortunes.
Test game for Traktor Pentz
The Pentz tractor also had to struggle in preparation. In the last test match there was an exciting 2-2 draw against Loitzer Eintracht in the district league. Philipp Schiemann took the early lead in the fourth minute, but the guests were able to equalize shortly before the final whistle through Andreas Muth. Pentz coach Heiko Runge described the game as a “good test”, even if the training week beforehand was a strenuous one. The next game for Traktor Pentz is on Saturday against Blau-Weiß Greifswald.
