The Prignitz bathing world
The indoor swimming pool in Wittenberge, which opened in 1977 and was renamed Prignitzer Badewelt in 2000, is the only indoor swimming pool in the region. The bathroom is from the Wittenberger Bäder GmbH operated and has offered numerous swimming and leisure opportunities since it opened. In recent years, the Prignitzer Badewelt has returned to pre-Corona visitor numbers, with around 120,000 guests per year. The swimming pool employs around 30 people and offers a wide range of facilities, including a competition pool, children's pool and an adventure area with a slide. The entrance fees are also high given the attractiveness of the pool compared to other fun pools in Germany, such as the Aqualand Cologne, more than fair – they are between 4.50 and 7 euros.
End of year celebrations
The Badewelt has also thought of special activities for the end of the year. The 23rd New Year's Eve party for children will take place on December 31st, starting at 5 p.m. Here, little guests can look forward to cinema, computer games, water fun and colorful fireworks.
The Prignitzer Badewelt is an integral part of the region's public services and enjoys loyal visitors. Even though the swimming pool was closed from September 8th to 28th due to construction work, guests are now streaming back to enjoy the leisure experience.
The pool is also the state performance center of the Brandenburg Sports Association and brings life to the region with over 150 children's birthday parties and events such as the eleventh dragon boat pull. Anyone who has ever gone swimming in the Prignitzer Badewelt will always be happy to come back.
