Pritzwalk's festive season 2025: A weekend full of music and fireworks!

Pritzwalk, Deutschland - in Pritzwalk will be celebrated from June 13th to 15th, 2025! The "Pritzwalker Festival" are just around the corner and promise an exciting weekend full of activities for all ages. The festival was ceremoniously opened on Friday evening on the market square, with children from daycare centers and hoarding with colorful programs causing a good mood. The weather shows its best side: sunny and pleasant, ideal for a festival outdoors.

The venues are distributed across the city, including the market square, Meyenburger Straße, Marktstrasse, the Sankt-Nikolai Church and the museum factory. Something is offered here for every visitor. On Saturday, June 14th, guests can expect a diverse program on the big stage:

The afternoon begins at 2 p.m. with appearances by the Rock’n’Roll club Butterfly and the Bonita de Brazil samba group. Jean Ferry inspires with his solo comedy and singer Jeannine Hartmann creates a mood with a hit show. The highlight of the day will be the concert of the live band "Stillalive" at 8 p.m., followed by Kevin's appearance as a Andreas-Gabalier double at 9 p.m. The crowning glory is a fireworks display at 10 p.m., while “Stillalive” provides music until 1 a.m.

Not only on Saturday the holidays are waiting. Sunday, June 15th, is just as exciting. The Sankt-Nikolai church opens its doors from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and at 4 p.m. there is a final concert with the girls' choir Wernigerode, which inspires with a mixture of spiritual music, jazz and pop.

A look into the future

The city festival is not the only event that Pritzwalk presents this year. The event flyer for 2025 has already been completed and will soon be available in the town hall and in other urban institutions, such as the regulatory office and the cultural center. On eight pages, this flyer gives an overview of the upcoming events that from the Pritzwalker spring awakening on April 26th to the Pritzwalker Herbstlichter and the Christmas market in December.

The city of Pritzwalk has a good hand for events and offers not only city festivals, but also monthly prima meetings as well as various village festivals and anniversaries in the districts.
