Last weekend, the Prignitz syndicate experienced two bitter defeats in the 2nd Bundesliga on an unfortunate November 10, 2025. Although they arrived as league leaders, they suddenly had to settle for sixth place after the matches against SG EBT/Eintracht Berlin and SG Adlershof/Lichtenberg. The drop in the table came abruptly after SpG dropped valuable points on Saturday and Sunday.
The first setback occurred against SG EBT/Eintracht Berlin, where the Prignitz team lost with 5371:5271 wood. In this match, 31 team ranking points (MWP) remained scored, which meant that they missed out on the coveted additional point, which is awarded from 32 MWP, by just one wood. The second defeat against SG Adlershof/Lichtenberg followed on Sunday, which was no less painful at 5492:5449.
A look at the situation
Overall, it was a weekend that could have been very different for the team. After all, the following games against KC Unit Schwerin on December 13th and 14th are already in sight. Last year there was a similar disappointment for the Prignitz team in Glövzin when Schwerin stole the extra point while they came away empty-handed in their own hall. Such a course should be prevented this time so as not to increase the distance to the top even further.
