Peitz, Deutschland - The traditional Peitzer Fischerfest is just around the corner and is celebrated from August 1 to 3, 2025. In the middle of the picturesque meadows around the Volkspark, a colorful spectacle is offered under the motto "Tradition meets experience". This year, visitors are expecting exciting innovations and a varied program that has a lot to offer for families as well as for friends of cuisine and live music. What is special: For the first time, the festival of brewery for pückler organized.

The opening takes place on Friday evening, from 6:00 p.m. visitors can look forward to the crowning glory of the new pond nixes and the barrel beer tapping by Mayor Jörg Krako . The start makes a large fireworks display that duly initiates the evening. The musical entertainment is also taken care of, with the party band Bearitone the mood is fueled right from the start.

On Saturday it is really the matter of business, because the highlight of the festival is the fishing steam on the devil's pond, where teams compete against each other. It will be particularly exciting for the music lovers on Saturday evening: the live acts Alexander Knappe and the party rock band simultaneously will inspire the crowd with their appearances. The Street food mile also offers a variety of international delicacies and regional fish specialties, so that culinary remain open.

Sunday will crown the band contest under the title "Bands on Stage", where seven young groups compete against each other. The award ceremony will take place around 6 p.m. Of course there are also many offers for the little guests: walking acts, hands-on activities and an amusement park ensure that even the youngest festival visitors get their money's worth.
