The responsible persons pay particular attention to the file names: these should be selected sensibly and should definitely contain the date of the application. Umlauts and certain special characters are not allowed in the file names, and password-protected PDF documents cannot be uploaded. So a little caution is advised if you don't want to stall the application.

The feedback already shows a high level of acceptance: up to two thirds of the building applications are now finding their way to the authority online. In view of the future, the goal is that from 2026 the virtual building authority will be available in all counties and cities of Brandenburg.
