Biker loses appetite after trouble over parking ban in Malchin!
A curious argument at the snack stand at the church in Malchin ended with the question of who has the last word. A trucker from Ivenack wanted to get chicken legs before his shift, parked his motorcycle in front of the broiler truck and had a surprise: the seller refused to sell him a chicken because he was supposedly in a parking ban. The situation escalated when the Ivenacker and the seller, Harry Pupke, became involved in a heated discussion, which, according to over 30 witnesses, ended in an insulting choice of words.
The Ivenacker initially didn't know that he was in a parking ban because the only signs he saw indicated a speed limit of 30 km/h. Harry Pupke, on the other hand, described the whole scene as a “trivial” and asked whether it would have been so bad to simply push the motorcycle into the parking lot. “I'm doing this for extra money and don't have to accept everything,” he explained. However, parking bans are important to keep the street clear for other road users. For example, parking and parking bans are strictly enforced and can result in fines of between 25 and 100 euros. Strict regulations apply, particularly on priority roads and at stops, as the ADAC emphasizes.
Parking and stopping: what is allowed?
In urban areas, parking is generally permitted on priority streets, but you must always be careful not to stand in the way. Stopping and parking on narrow streets often involves strict regulations. Here you should definitely keep a distance of 3 meters from passing cars where necessary. It should also not be forgotten that parking at bus and tram stops is prohibited, which is intended to ensure not only parking bans but also proper traffic management.
Violations of the parking regulations not only result in fines, but also points in Flensburg. This can end badly, especially if you park twice in the second row: a minimum of 55 euros is due. Parking in front of property entrances and on sidewalks is also prohibited without express permission via a traffic sign.
A biker with no appetite
Cleverly, the Ivenacker wanted to inform the regional manager of the chicken grill chain after the incident, but that had no effect either. Suddenly the trucker no longer had an appetite for broiler and felt hurt by the salesman's words, who referred to him as a "Stasi". The regional owner, Harry Pupke, has been in business for over 30 years and has benefited from peaceful coexistence - until today. “Normally everything is very relaxed here,” explained the seller.
The well-known legal provisions emphasize that the regulations are always aimed at not hindering other road users. It is all the more surprising that such a harmless excursion led to a truly heated argument. This connection between chicken legs and a parking ban, which has since been forged, is at least something to talk about among the snack bar's customers.
In a world where culinary delights are often at the forefront, misunderstandings can quickly arise that are unnecessarily exaggerated. Hopefully many people's appetite for broilers will remain unbroken.
