Fascination with Celtic sounds: Concerts with Winding Path in the Uckermark!

Celtic and Irish music will be heard loudly in the region around Feldberg and Angermünde over the next few days. The concert series “Music in the Ship”, organized by Hannes Sturm, offers a very special highlight this year: the trio “Winding Path” is dedicated to the stirring sounds of the green island.

What's particularly exciting about the collaboration is the variety of instruments the musicians use. The members of the ensemble, Katharina Hölzel, Silvia “Liese” Needon and Torsten Pfeffer, have made it their mission to portray Nordic nature and the odd paths in life that have shaped them. All three have spent time in Ireland, England or the USA studying musical arts, which is reflected in their performance. They play over a dozen instruments, including wind, plucked, string, keyboard and percussion instruments, which make the concerts a special experience.
