Compulsory vaccination through the back door? Doctors demand clarity and trust!
In recent weeks, the dialogue surrounding vaccinations and their side effects has intensified in Germany. Retired doctor Ado Zorn in particular draws attention to worrying developments that affect both doctors and patients. He warns of a possible vaccination requirement through the back door, which could come into force in 2026. Zorn, who worked as a family doctor from 1996 to 2012 and worked as a private doctor until 2021, draws attention to upcoming financial audits for family doctor practices that carry out fewer than ten vaccinations per quarter. They could lose up to 40 percent of their maintenance fee because vaccination is viewed as an essential service of primary care. He criticizes the fact that the pressure on doctors to carry out more vaccinations is increasing. This could result in good medical decisions being put on hold.
The Northern Courier also notes that this could jeopardize the trust between doctor and patient. As Zorn reports, the question is now often asked: “Do you have your vaccination book with you?” Zorn has initiated an empirical study on vaccination side effects and noticed that he is observing a worrying increase in so-called “turbo cancer” cases, “turbo dementia” and “turbo depression”.
Focus on vaccination side effects
In a broader context, the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI) reported a total of 8,659 suspected cases of vaccination complications in 2022 and 2023, such as Medical Journal reported. These statistics are based on approximately 105 million vaccinations - but excluding COVID-19 vaccinations. About 3.4 percent of reported cases resulted in permanent damage. Even though of 74 reported deaths, only 0.9 percent were found to be directly linked to the vaccination, this is a topic that raises concerns.
The PEI conducts ongoing analyzes to assess the safety and effectiveness of vaccines. The Website of the Robert Koch Institute highlights that although adverse effects from vaccines are rare, they should not be ignored. Vaccinations are considered an important preventive measure, but reports of side effects require careful investigation.
Loss of trust in vaccination policy
Ado Zorn and current surveys by the Robert Koch Institute show a significant loss of trust in vaccination policy. Only 16 percent of hospital employees are vaccinated against Corona, which is often attributed to negative experiences during the pandemic. This development could not only have an impact on the relationship between doctor and patient, but also on the chances of success of future vaccination campaigns.
The National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians and the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds emphasize that they are finding solutions to provide incentives without burdening doctors with high fee losses, but it remains to be seen how the situation will develop. Zorn's criticism that some doctors have ignored the Hippocratic Oath during the pandemic makes it clear that the discussion about vaccinations goes far beyond medical aspects.
