Cooking event Prenzlau is(s)t”: Ideas for strong togetherness!

In Prenzlau we cook and discuss together! Next Wednesday, June 25th, the Engaged City Network invites you to an exciting network meeting in the Glass House. Anyone interested in socializing in the city should not miss this event. The afternoon begins at 1:30 p.m. with developing new ideas and strengthening collaboration. Back in April, around 60 people gathered for this initiative to actively shape the future of Prenzlau. The popular presenter Mia Konstantinidou will lead the day and bring a breath of fresh air into the conversations.

The concept of regular meetings entitled “Prenzlau is(s)t” aims to create new opportunities for encounters. And the best part? The event is open to everyone and free of charge. Anyone who just wants to come by to cook is also very welcome. Admission is free, but registration is recommended by calling 03984 / 938984 or by email.

Childcare and culinary highlights

We have also thought about families: child care is offered! This means the little ones can help prepare the ingredients or get creative while the adults start talking. Generous support from local supermarkets such as Kaufland, REWE and Lidl provides the ingredients. The later events will take place every two months, with the same concept applying.

The kick-off event in February 2024, which took place in the community center, was a complete success. Offers such as “Family Ties” and the “Starting Life” project attracted numerous visitors. There is definitely something for everyone here, whether young or old. Cooking and eating together has proven to be an excellent way to promote exchange and togetherness.

Network collaboration

The network work in Prenzlau is based on joint idea development and decision-making. It is the motivation to collaborate that is crucial to the success of such initiatives. According to a brochure from the New Quality of Work Initiative (INQA), clear structures, appreciative communication and a common mission statement are essential success factors for functioning network work. The members of the network are invited to pull together to overcome the challenges that the commitment brings with it.

Whether at the next cooking evening or when exchanging ideas, the possibilities for getting together in Prenzlau are diverse. Just tune in to the upcoming event dates for further inspiration. Preparations are underway and anticipation is increasing!
