Cooking fun for everyone: Prenzlau is (s) t ... inspires with international recipes!

Brüssower Allee 62, 17291 Prenzlau, Deutschland - The ninth round of the popular event "Prenzlau is (s) t ..." has impressively shown how bridges can be killed together. Over 50 guests came together in the glass house to not only prepare different dishes, but also to exchange ideas and strengthen the intercultural connections. The hosts were the Barnim Uckermark community foundation, TFA-Akademie GmbH, the Safe & Sound project and the Kulturwerk Prenzlau e.V., all of which together created a great ambience.

The event was all about coexistence. Sekine Flämig from the Barnim Uckermark community foundation reported that numerous participants wanted to help cooking. Among other things, an Italian pasta salad, Albanian tarte flambee, homemade herb butter and a delicious rice salad were prepared. The fresh strawberries, which were sponsored by the Bernhard family from Stegemannshof, were certainly very well received by those present, who were also supported by the owner of the organic shop "Lew", Beate Schulz.

As you can see, "Prenzlau is (s) t ..." is more than just preparing delicious dishes. The event promotes the exchange between different generations and cultures, as well as the women of the Woman Action Space project, stimulated an international cooking afternoon. The creative offer from the “Diester” meeting place was a highlight for all guests, including the young people who took part in this afternoon.

Another highlight will be the next meeting of "Prenzlau is (s) t ..." on August 27, which will take place in the community center. Here visitors will have the opportunity to cook together - this time a grill is being built up. The hosts are the network of healthy children and the Angermünder Bildungswerk.

In addition, the next event will take place on Wednesday, October 30th, in the Evangelical City Mission. This all about pumpkin dishes such as pumpkin soup, casseroles and gluten -free pasta salads. Smaller guests can even design pumpkins and take them home. This grown series shows the lasting desire to promote culinary traditions and cultural exchange - a goal that also takes care of other projects such as "Unity Cuisine" in Lüneburg. This initiative promotes intercultural exchange through cooking events and enables migrants to share their culinary traditions while they can experience stories with each other at the same time. Looking outside the box has not only in Prenzlau, but also in other parts of Germany.
