Creative workshop for children: filmmaking in the summer holiday workshop!

Prenzlau, Deutschland - In the Uckermark, something is going to be creative! From August 11th to 15th, an exciting short film workshop will take place in the glass house in Prenzlau under the motto "Your film in the cinema". This event is aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 12 and gives them the opportunity to implement their stories in film. With the management of an experienced media educator and social worker, the young filmmakers can immerse themselves in the world of the film every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In this workshop, the participants not only learn how to plan scenes and act in front of the camera, but also how to ultimately cut a film. The short film produced will finally be presented in the cinema as part of the Umchallenge 2025. Here the children have the opportunity to show their works in front of an audience and take part in a competition with a award ceremony. Thanks to the support of the Schwedt e.V. trick factory and the Kulturwerk Prenzlau e.V.
