The state cup in the Uckermark ensures exciting encounters and the anticipation for the coming weekend increases. Eight teams from the region took part in the tournament, and five of them successfully made it through the preliminary round on August 15th. [Nordkurier] reports that the teams will fight for a place in the next round on August 16th. A particular focus is on SC Victoria Templin, which lost both league games against Stahl Brandenburg last year, but is now competing with motivation. Things get serious at the Friendship Stadium at 5:30 p.m.
But Templin is not alone in the race. Husaria Schwedt also triumphed over a higher-class opponent and will compete against Schönower SV in the city derby. In addition, Angermünder FC, recently promoted to the state league, will be competing against Unit Zepernick, one of the strongest teams in the league. FC Schwedt will compete against Alt Ruppin, who drew attention with an impressive 7:1 against Prenzlau.
